Garlic

It is specie which is used in cooking as well as in medical purposes like used in making medicines or curing diseases. Garlic can be grown easily provided mild climate throughout the year. It is almost grown all over the world but China is no.1 producer of garlic. When used in cooking it functions as taste changer, it is spicy and also sweetens the food. Some parts of garlic are edible and some are not like skin and root cluster. Using garlic other products are being made like garlic bread and garlic toast. The use differs from region to region like the way garlic is used in Pakistan may not be used in Korea. People eat garlic as an appetizer. There is garlic powder which is its substitute when you run out of garlic use it.
Uses from medical point: used as an antibacterial, control viral activities and provides resistance against fungus. It helps avoid heart disease by controlling blood pressure and cholesterol and also provides shield against cancer like stomach and colon cancer. During world war soldiers used it as antiseptic, and research have proved that it can be used as mouthwash where it inhibit antimicrobial activity.
Garlic also causes bad breath and smells bad when it is metabolised. People are also allergic to garlic, those should not eat or use it like garlic may produce nausea, diarrhea and breathing difficulties in them.
