Ginger

Ginger has different characteristics it can either be used in making medicines or spices. In beginning its production started in South Asia and now is grown widely over other areas of world. Ginger is preferred as an kitchen spice or is also used as an ingredient in making pickles and in most of routine dishes. We can use ginger as a main ingredient in making tea and add other things such as honey and lemon fruit and enjoy ginger tea. As a food preservative it is used too. If you want to used ginger for greater period of time it must be placed in plastic bag and put in refrigerator of freezer. Usage of ginger varies across the cultures like in western cultures it is used in making sweet food.
Ginger has got great importance in medicines, to disguise their tastes it is used and is also helpful against diseases as dyspepsia, constipation, gastroperasis and colic.
Ginger has side effects too it can lead to heartburn, gas, bloating and nausea.
