Olive Oil

The product obtained as a result of grinding the olives is olive oil. This is widely used throughout the world but especially in Mediterranean region. It is used as ingredient in cooking, cosmetics, making medicines and to light traditional lamps. More than 75% production of olive oil comes from 3 countries Spain, Italy and Greece. Olive oil is available in different varieties like Lianolia and Tsounati.
Olive oil important from medical perspective, it has shields against tumours in breast, prostate and digestive tract. It contains monounsaturated fats that help avoid heart diseases, the more olive oil one consume the greater is probability that he would be heart patient. Olive oil provides skin care in keeping it smooth and soft mostly in winters.
