Frozen fruit and vegetable salad mold



Introduction:-


Frozen salad molds are new entrants in the world of salads, which come under the heading of "cold salads". Best to be made in summers, these molds give a chilling taste. People think that how their texture will be? Well, when you will cut the mold, you will mousse-like slices. The salad recipe which has been stated below is a tested one and actually delights those who eat it. Make it on dinner or tea parties and get praises from all.


Ingredients:-


Mayonnaise = 1 cup
Cream = 1 cup
Salt = 1 teaspoon
White pepper = 1/2 teaspoon
Gelatin powder = 1 tablespoon
Lukewarm water = 1/2 cup (for dissolving the gelatin powder)
Pineapple jelly crystals = 1 packet (made as per the directions)
Powdered sugar = 2 tablespoons
Apple = 1 (cut into cubes)
Mix Fruit cocktail = 1 cup
Cucumber = 2 (cut into cubes)
Peas = 1/2 cup
Carrots (boiled and cubed) = 1/2 cup
Potatoes (boiled and cubed) = 1/2 cup

Preparation Process:-


Dissolve gelatin into water and cut the prepared jelly into cubes. Mix all ingredients together.Take a jelly mold and pour the mixture in it. Let it get set in fridge for 2 to 3 hours. When set, decorate a plate with salad leaves, cut the edges of jelly mold with knife and turn it downside over the plate. If salad does not drop on the plate then take lukewarm water in a bowl of wide mouth and place the mold over it for few minutes. Frozen salad will leave its base and will easily leave the mold.

Serving Count:-

6 to 8 people can enjoy this salad.
